Remote Command Examples from USS

Example 1: This example shows a remote command for creating a directory on a remote Unix system:

> ssh2 user1@unix.example.com mkdir testdir

Example 2: This example shows a remote command for creating a directory on a remote Windows system:

> ssh2 user2@windows.example.com "cmd /c mkdir testdir"

Example 3: Multiple commands can be separated using a semicolon:

> ssh2 user1@unix.example.com "cd /tmp; ls -l test.*; rm test.txt"
