Removing from Solaris

To remove SSH Tectia Server from a Solaris SPARC environment, perform the following tasks:

  1. Stop the Secure Shell daemon using the following command:
    # /etc/init.d/sshd2 stop

  2. Remove the installation by issuing one of the following commands with root privileges:
    # pkgrm SSHssh2

    or
    # pkgrm SSHssh2.2

Note: The uninstallation procedure removes only the files that were created when installing the software. Any configuration files have to be removed manually.
