Removing from AIX

To remove SSH Tectia Server from an AIX environment, do the following:

1. Stop the Secure Shell daemon with the following command:

   # /etc/ssh2/sshd2 stop
   

2. Remove the installation by issuing the following command with root privileges:

   # installp -u SSH.Secure.Shell
   

Note: The uninstallation procedure removes only the files that were created when installing the software. Any configuration files have to be removed manually.
