Sample Files
After installation, SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS includes a directory called
/usr/lpp/ssh2/doc/zOS/samples that contains USS scripts, and a
directory called /usr/lpp/ssh2/doc/zOS/SAMPLIB that contains
JCL scripts and other files that complement this document.
Before running the samples, you should adapt them to your environment.
For example:
- Change the user, file, and machine names to those of your system.
- In JCL scripts, change the
STDENV paths to point to the
correct location on your system.
- In JCL scripts, make sure that the
STDOUT and
STDERR paths are unique so that two JCL scripts run
concurrently never use the same paths.
- In FTP tunneling examples, make sure that the local port number
used for the secure listener is unique for each instance which is run
concurrently.
Many of the tasks described by the samples can be accomplished by other
means, for example by using TSO commands or the OpenMVS ISPF Shell.
