System Requirements

The following operating system versions are supported as SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS platforms:

• z/OS 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8

The following minimum hardware is required:

• 1 GB RAM for hundreds of simultaneous tunnels.
• Minimum 160 MB free disk space, 200 cylinders (includes client components)

  During installation, an additional 200 MB of temporary disk space is required.

• CD-ROM drive on a PC with a network connection to mainframe
• TCP/IP connection
