Removing the SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS Software

SSH Tectia Server 5.4 for IBM z/OS is removed with the uninstall script that is provided in the installation package.

To remove SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS:

  1. Go to the directory where the installation package was extracted (tmp/ssh2-5.4.2.<build>).
  2. Stop the sshd2 process:

    > /etc/ssh2/init.d/sshd2 stop

  3. Run the uninstall script:

    > ./uninstall.sh

The script removes the binaries and manual pages under /usr/lpp/ssh2 and configuration files under /etc/ssh2. The server host key is not removed.
