Required Permissions

Performing the installation requires write permission to /usr/lpp and /etc. It also requires permission to update RACF facilities and to issue the extattr command.

The extattr command makes a program program-controlled. To issue it, the user must have read access to the BPX.FILEATTR.PROGCTL facility.

It is recommended that a user account, SSHD2, is created for running the SSH Tectia Server (M). The same user can be given the permissions needed for the installation process.
