Removing the SSH Tectia Server (M) Software

SSH Tectia Server (M) 5.1 is removed with the uninstall script that is provided in the installation package.

To remove SSH Tectia Server (M):

  1. Go to the directory where the installation package was extracted (tmp/ssh2-5.1.0.<build>).
  2. Switch to the SSHD2 user:
    >su - sshd2

  3. Ensure that /etc/ssh2 and /usr/lpp/ssh2 directories are writable.
  4. Run the uninstall script:

    >./uninstall.sh

The script removes the binaries and manual pages under /usr/lpp/ssh2 and configuration files under /etc/ssh2. The server host key is not removed.
