Tectia client-side applications can be executed from JCL with BPXBATCH, BPXBATSL, or oshell. scpg3 uses the same syntax for interactive and non-interactive file transfers. sftpg3 has a batch mode for non-interactive file transfers.

Sample JCL for running clients in batch are provided in the <HLQ>.V650.SAMPLIB data set. When running the clients under JCL, STDENV must point to SSHENV in the JCL (see Environment Variables) to ensure that the necessary environment variables are set.
