Tectia Client and Server require valid licenses that are provided separately. Please contact your sales representative if you have not received your licenses.
The setup script described in Running the Setup Script will prompt you to install licenses as follows:
Tectia(tm) Server installation complete. Licenses must now be installed. After obtaining them from Tectia SSH.COM, copy them to <directory_name> and install them by running: /opt/tectia/doc/zOS/samples/install_licenses.sh <directory_name>
By default, Tectia Server expects to find its license in the file
/opt/tectia/etc/license_ssh2.dat
(which may be a symbolic link) or as
specified by the environment variable SSH_LICENSE_FILE
. Tectia Client expects
to find licenses in the directory /opt/tectia/etc/licenses/
by default,
or as specified by the environment variable SSH_SECSH_LICENSE_DIR
.
You may install the licenses also by hand if you wish, but it is simpler to run the
recommended install_licenses.sh
script. The desired outcome is as follows:
/opt/tectia/etc/license_ssh2.dat : server license file or symlink
/opt/tectia/etc/licenses/ : client licenses directory or symlink
