Removing the SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS Software

SSH Tectia Server 6.1 for IBM z/OS is removed with the uninstall script that is provided in the installation package.

To remove SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS:

  1. Stop the sshd2 process:

    > /opt/tectia/etc/init.d/sshd2 stop

  2. Run the uninstall script:

    > /opt/tectia/sbin/uninstall.sh

The script removes the binaries, manual pages, and configuration files from under /opt/tectia. The configuration files and server host key are moved to /tmp/ssh_tectia_uninstall_backup/etc. Everything else under /opt/tectia is removed.
