Using SSH Tectia Client on Mainframe

  • Binary file transfer from mainframe USS file to a remote SSH server. See SCP2 in SAMPLIB (see Appendix SCP2).
  • File transfer from a remote SSH server to a mainframe sequential dataset. The MVS data set name is defined using a DD (data definition) statement. See SCP2GET in SAMPLIB (see Appendix SCP2GET).
  • File transfer from a mainframe sequential dataset to a remote SSH server. See SCP2PUT in SAMPLIB (see Appendix SCP2PUT).
