Securing Credit Card Information

Customer Challenge:

"We need a solution which can secure application traffic from railway ticketing machines to back-end servers. The application traffic contains credit card information and we need to meet PCI-DSS requirements. Additionally, the solution has to work through firewalls with network address translation (NAT)."

Tectia Solution:

Tectia ConnectSecure was deployed in the railway operator's ticketing machines all around Europe. Tectia ConnectSecure secures the application communication with back-end servers using Transparent TCP Tunneling. The ticketing machines are running Microsoft Windows and the back-end servers are Unix servers running OpenSSH.
