Tectia ConnectSecure includes application programming interfaces (APIs) for C and Java 1.4.2. The APIs can be used to develop automated file transfer applications and to integrate Tectia products smoothly to other existing systems.

The API in C is available for all supported platforms. The API in Java is available only for the following platforms: 32-bit (x86) Linux, Sun Solaris SPARC, and 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.

On Unix platforms, the APIs are stored in directory /opt/tectia. The Java API is located in one directory /opt/tectia/java, while the C API files are located in three directories: /opt/tectia/include, /opt/tectia/lib, and /opt/tectia/samples.

On Windows, the APIs are stored in directory "C:\Program Files\SSH Communications Security\SSH Tectia\SSH Tectia AUX\sdk". For information on the C and Java APIs, see their documentation included in the installation packages.
