Removing from Windows

You have several alternative ways of removing the SSH Tectia ConnectSecure installation from a Windows machine. Select one method and follow the instructions below:

Using the Windows tools

Open the Control Panel and double-click the Add or Remove Programs option.
Select SSH Tectia ConnectSecure from the list of installed programs and click the Remove button.
Click Yes to confirm.
If you had the FTP-SFTP conversion component installed, you have to restart the computer after uninstalling SSH Tectia ConnectSecure. Click Yes to restart.

Using the command line tools for silent uninstallation:

msiexec /q /x ssh-tectia-connectsecure-<version>.msi

In the command, <version> indicates the product release version and the exact build number to be removed (for example, 6.1.9.123).

Using the Windows installation wizard

Double-click the installation package ssh-tectia-connectsecure-<version>-windows.msi.
Select the Remove option and confirm.
The wizard will uninstall the SSH Tectia ConnectSecure.

	Note
	The uninstallation procedure removes only the files that were created when installing the software. Any configuration files have to be removed manually.
