New Features in SSH Tectia Client/Server Solution 5.3

The set of supported platforms has changed in SSH Tectia client/server solution 5.3.

The following operating systems are supported as SSH Tectia Client and SSH Tectia Server platforms:

IBM AIX 5L 5.2 and 5.3 (POWER)
HP-UX 11.11 (11i v1) and 11.23 (11i v2) (PA-RISC)
HP-UX 11.23 (11i v2) (IA64)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, 4, and 5 (x86)
New: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, 4, and 5 (x86-64)
SUSE LINUX Professional 9.1 and 9.2 (x86)
SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 (x86)
Sun Solaris 8, 9, and 10 (SPARC, 32-bit)
New: Sun Solaris 10 (x86-64) including support for Zones
Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2003 x64 (x86)
New: Microsoft Windows Vista and Vista x64 (x86); supported platforms for SSH Tectia Client

Support has been dropped for the following operating system versions. This applies to all SSH Tectia products:

AIX 5L 5.1
HP-UX 11.00 (PA-RISC)
HP-UX 11.22 (IA64)
Solaris 2.6 and 7

In addition, Windows 2000 support has been dropped from SSH Tectia Connector.

Quick Start Guide (Unix)
This manual gives instructions on installing SSH Tectia Client and Server on Unix/Linux platform, and on configuring the products for a typical use case.
Quick Start Guide (Windows)
This manual gives instructions on installing SSH Tectia Client and Server on Windows platform, and on configuring the products for a typical use case.
